Ryan W. Morgan
President
Well versed as a deal maker, Ryan attended Boston College, where he graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa with a major in Political Philosophy and 17th century British Literature. Ryan earned his law degree at the University of California at Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) while focusing on contract law and corporate law. Ryan was awarded the "Best Overall Participant" in Boalt's Moot Court Program for his section. Prior to founding MAG, Ryan worked at Morrison & Foerster, one of the premier law firms in the country. Ryan recently negotiated a player contract extension that covers the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Beach Volleyball contract seasons for the US Professional Tour -- the agreement and related initiatives have been hailed in the sports industry as "groundbreaking." When he is not in the office working on deals for MAG clients, Ryan teaches Sports Law with MAG’s Director of Football Operations, Wynn Silberman at the Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Morgan has successfully concluded hundreds of deals since founding the company. Ryan has been a National Football League Players Association certified contract advisor since the year 2000, a MLBPA Certified Agent since 2005 and is a member of both the Sports Lawyers’ Association and the business law group of the California State Bar Association. Wynn J. Silberman
Senior VP
As Senior Vice President, Wynn Silberman delivers a unique blend of contract negotiations experience and business acumen to the world of athlete representation. A Bellarmine College Preparatory graduate, member of the 1996 Northwestern University Big Ten Championship football team, two-time recipient of the Academic All Big Ten award, and graduate with departmental honors in Religion and Bioethics, Wynn continues to operate at a high level as a member the MAG team. Prior to earning his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, Wynn also played one successful season overseas on Bankeryd’s basketball team in Jonkoping, Sweden. Noted particularly for his strong personal relationships with the NFL, MLB, and corporate America, Wynn effectively negotiates millions of dollars a year in both endorsement deals and player contracts for MAG’s athletes. He continues to work closely with MAG NFL Advisory Board members such as Jack Tatum and maintain strong relationships with individuals such as Oakland A’s Director of Player Personnel Billy Owens, a fellow Bellarmine alum, in order to deliver unparalleled success in the industry for our athletes. Gustavo Vasquez
Director, Baseball
Gustavo Vasquez brings significant experience to MAG as a Certified Agent in the Baseball industry. He currently recruits baseball players and personally manages their careers at MAG. Gustavo earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Jose Maria Vargas University in Caracas-Venezuela, where he enjoyed an outstanding College baseball career from 1989 to 1994. Gustavo started his baseball career working as a Financial Advisor in 2005. Eric Crandall
Business Development
Prior to joining the MAG team, Eric spent five years working independently in the sports and entertainment industries. In that time, he was involved in everything from one-off events, to major national concert tours, to athlete representation and contract negotiations. Having developed successful relationships with, and completed deals with companies like Activision, Rockstar Energy Drink, Intel, Jardin, K2, The Firm, Live Nation, Smart Parts, JT USA, and NXe, Eric brings a wealth of knowledge, contacts, and experience to MAG. Most agents don’t have the time, ability, or desire to assist a client with all aspects of their public life. This is the part of the business that Eric enjoys tremendously – and he is a key factor in making sure that the MAG athletes with whom he works receive best in class attention. The ultimate goal is to create the most successful “brand” possible, and this is something that MAG has achieved time and time again. While there is a unique process for each client, it typically involves helping a client become a more visible member of the community, as well as a well-respected member of his or her team and sport.
