Former Buffalo tight end Kolo Kapanui has agreed to a free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns. Kapanui, a Palolo, Hawaii native, was a major threat in the Buffs' high-powered passing attack, catching 39 passes for 481 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Kapanui was named a first team Daktronics All-American, along with garnering second team D2Football.com All-American honors.

2007 AP Little All-America First Team: Kolo Kapanui capped off his two-year career in Canyon this fall by emerging into a dominant offensive force for the Buffs. The native of Hawaii caught 39 passes in 2007 to rack up 481 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. Additionally, Kapanui was a vital point of the Buffs' swinging gate extra point conversion attempts as he scored on five of seven two-point conversion rushing tries.
