Casey Jennings

Beach Volleyball AVP

Represented by MAG for 4 years

One of the most animated and enthusiastic players on the AVP Tour, Casey Jennings is a resident crowd favorite. He captured his first victory in Belmar in 2004 with partner Matt Fuerbringer. Those two combined to form one of the longest-tenured domestic partnerships in history, as their 53 U.S. events together rank 12th. They played in 11 championship matches from the start of 2003 through 2006. He and Fuerbringer were the only players to finish ranked in the top seven individually in each of the four seasons in that span.

In 2005 he and Fuerbringer claimed two more wins, and then in 2006 they won in Seaside Heights, marking the fourth time in as many years the pair had played in the championship match in New Jersey.

Named AVP's Most Improved Player in 2002 and 2003 and Best Defensive Player in 2003, Casey "the Kid" as he's fondly referred to, has proven he has a very promising career on the beach. He has the ability to motivate and excite beach volleyball fans and crowds like no other player on the Tour.

Jennings ended the 2005 season ranked in the top five in five different statistical categories; second in kill percentage, third in hitting percentage and digs, and fifth in kills and aces. In 2006 he was fourth in digs (4.90 per game) and sixth in kills (7.29 per game).

He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2000 with a degree in Sociology and was a key member of the 1999 NCAA Championship volleyball team.

Jennings grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and is the youngest of five brothers.

Jennings currently resides in Redondo Beach, Calif. with his wife, gold medalist Kerri Walsh. Both players won in Seaside Heights in 2006, making them the second married couple to win on the same weekend, joining Mike and Patty Dodd, who accomplished the feat four times.
